python-pacparser software package provides Python module to parse proxy auto-config files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-pacparser
python-pacparser is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-pacparser package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pacparser *
You will get with python-pacparser package name, version, architecture and description in a table
